Taking pictures of people is much different than photographing beautiful mountains, scenic landscapes, historic architecture, plates of food, or whatever it is that you usually photograph. People never fail to make extraordinary subjects because every person has a story, and every picture should tell part of that story.
So how do you photograph everyday people? Not models or people that are used to being photographed; maybe even people that aren’t comfortable being photographed? In fact, not just photograph, but take a portrait? How do we help them to relax? How do we pose them? How do we capture the ‘real’ them?
